Dr. Niwagaba Kennedy
Board Chairperson
Dr. Niwagaba Kennedy is a research Consultant at Makerere University School of Public Health and the Director of Arrow Research Consults Limited. He brings extensive experience in designing and implementing livelihood and public health projects, with a strong focus on community development and evidence-based interventions. Dr. Niwagaba provides strategic leadership and governance oversight, contributing valuable academic and practical expertise to the organization’s mission.
CPA Namanya Brian
Treasurer
CPA Namanya Brian is a Certified Public Accountant and the Managing Partner at Brana & Associates. He brings strong expertise in financial management, accounting, and organizational governance. As Treasurer, he provides strategic financial oversight, ensuring transparency, accountability, and sound financial systems that support the organization’s sustainability and growth.
Micheal Akampurira
Secretary to the Board
Akampurira is a qualified Social Worker with extensive experience in implementing community-based projects in health, livelihoods and environmental sustainability. He serves as both Secretary to the Board and Executive Director, safeguarding the organization’s vision and mission while overseeing daily operations and implementation of Board decisions.
Ms. Sheila Turyahabwe
Board Member.
Ms. Sheila Turyahabwe is the Founder and Executive Director of Shine for Change, an organization that promotes digital literacy in Uganda. She brings strong expertise in Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Monitoring and Evaluation, and women’s empowerment. With a proven track record in program leadership and organizational development, she contributes valuable strategic insight and practical experience to the board, supporting initiatives that promote digital inclusion and sustainable community development.
Mwesigwa Elizabeth
Board Member
Mwesigwa Elizabeth is an Africa Badminton Champion, women’s rights activist, and social entrepreneur. She is the Founder of Mwesigwa School for People with Disabilities in Luuka District, where she champions inclusive education and empowerment for persons with disabilities. Through her leadership in sports, advocacy, and social enterprise, she brings a strong voice for inclusion, resilience, and women’s empowerment to the board.
