Ujamaa works to improve access to clean water and sanitation through its Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) initiatives. We support the construction of gender-responsive WASH infrastructure near farms, homes, and schools, and promote good handwashing and sanitation practices in schools and communities. We also collaborate with government agencies, private companies, and civil society organizations to provide water treatment facilities and ensure communities have access to safe, clean drinking water.
